About the Artist

I am a writer and an artist based in Colorado.  I paint, illustrate, photograph, and experiment with mixed media. My imagery ranges from abstract portraiture and spiritual themes to textiles, commercial projects, and digital illustration.  I have written and illustrated a children's book, The Legend of Nobu, which I am working to publish.  

My art has evolved alongside my life experiences, education and personal healing.  I create images that explore presence and feeling. 

While I began as a fine artist, illustration has always been at the center of what I do.  The core of my passion lies in storytelling.  After a lifetime of drawing and painting, I am now  bringing the stories and characters I've carried within me into both image and word, where they continue to develop and grow every day.
